Making Shop Marmalade Healthier

Two weeks ago I told you about a way to cut down the sugar content of shop marmalade.
I mixed up the contents of a 454g jar of marmalade and a 284g jar of Seville Orange fruit spread which uses grape juice for sweetening.
The result was amazing. The full tangy flavour of the marmalade was very much in evidence. And what's more the sugar content was reduced from 67% to 41%.
Well my breakfasts are now very engoyable again as they used to be when I was younger. But I did notice a bit of weight gain when I went to the gym the other day. So...
... I have taken it one stage further and mixed a 454g jar of marmalade with TWO 284g jars of Seville orange fruit spread.
Well I don't know if it's my imagination but the marmalade still tastes so much better than before my experiment. Definitely less sugary but still miles better taste than the fruit juice sweetened spread. And the sugar content is now 30%.
