For infections, again lots of rest is important. It is vital to avoid sugar and sugary foods – these will feed the infection, not you. In fact the less you eat, the better. Keep up your intake of fluids and eat easily digested foods such as thin soups and fruit. Fasting is the fast way to get well.

Vitamin C in high doses is very important in all cases of infection. Take 2 to 5 grams a day of vitamin C (that is, 2000mg to 5000mg). Drink lots of water to flush out your system.
