Do you want to try a natural cure? Do you want to do more than just passively accept your symptoms, and the drugs and treatments? The healing process begins the moment that you take charge and decide to do something about it yourself. (Remember that the longer you have been ill, the longer it takes to get well again, so the sooner you start the better.)
For any illness, the cure begins with diet. As a general rule, injuries need feeding, infections need fasting. In any case cleaning up your diet is the first step – eliminate (or at least reduce) toxins such as artificial additives, sugar and caffeine. These will only slow your recovery. Eat more wholefoods and fresh vegetables. Many illnesses, including
insomnia
and depression, respond well to an improvement in diet alone.
For injuries, eat a normal healthy diet and get lots of sleep and rest. Make sure you eat enough (not too much) good quality protein, which your body needs for repair. Bruises can be treated with arnica or witch hazel. Swelling can be reduced with icepacks or careful massage.
For infections, again lots of rest is important. It is vital to avoid sugar and sugary foods – these will feed the infection, not you. In fact the less you eat, the better. Keep up your intake of fluids and eat easily digested foods such as fruit and thin soups. Fasting is the fast way to get well. Vitamin C in high doses is very important in all cases of infection. Take 2 to 5 grams a day of vitamin C (that is, 2000mg to 5000mg). Drink lots of water to flush out your system.

For more serious illnesses, there are natural health cures. In all cases a healthy diet is vital, and sufficient water. Your body is 70% water, so your diet should be too. Drink lots of water (6-8 glasses a day) and eat foods that have high water content (i.e. fruit and vegetables). Many illnesses can actually be started by chronic dehydration.(That, and too much sugar.)
A natural health cure can be designed to help you, whatever your illness, from the
common cold
to
high blood pressure
or
diabetes.
